Work Exchange Opportunities
With the 2017 growing season just around the corner we are looking for individuals interested in a work trade on Windy Corners!
You'll have the opportunity to learn about what it really takes to make a homestead including gardening, canning and preserving, cheese and yogurt making, animal husbandry, beekeeping, winemaking, and more!
There are also many opportunities for special projects so bring your skills and ideas!
Duties would include planting, weeding, harvesting, milking, processing food, cleaning up after yourself and cooking a community dinner once per week!
In your spare time enjoy the wonders Vermont has to offer like beautiful Lake Champlain, only 2 miles from the farm, the small but expressive city of Burlington only 12 miles away, and the Green Mountains less than an hour East of us! Don't forget about Windy Corners' extended farmily, there's always someone or something interesting happening around the farm!
We require about 20 hours of work per week in exchange for room, board, and an unlimited amount of opportunities for learning, growth and fun! We're looking for a minimum 1 month commitment!
